Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician - 3rd Shift

About the role

The FSQA Tech ensures food safety and quality by performing physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems, documenting results, and taking corrective actions when necessary. Responsibilities include identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, reporting findings, and handling additional tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and document results accurately.
• Take corrective actions, alert personnel, and report to management.
• Handle additional assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food manufacturing or Quality Assurance.
• Lock Out Tag Out certification required.

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork, motivate others, and solve problems.
• Math, organizational, and interpretation skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long hours, and work in varying temperatures.
• Repetitive bending, reaching, climbing, and working in wet environments.

Requirements

• Ability to work in cold/hot environments, with safety gear and without jewelry or cell phones on the floor.
• Must be flexible to work overtime, weekends, and in various locations as needed.
• Physical fitness to meet job demands is essential.
• Background checks may be required.
