About the role
The Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager oversees all aspects of food safety and quality assurance within the organization. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, conducting regular audits, and implementing corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all food safety and quality assurance programs
- Conduct regular internal and external audits
- Implement corrective actions based on audit findings
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Develop and maintain training programs for staff
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve food safety practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance
- Experience with HACCP systems and other food safety protocols
- Strong knowledge of FDA, USDA, and state/local regulations
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Pay
- $60,000 - $70,000 annually
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
