The Food Runner/Attendant position at Belmont Park is a seasonal role scheduled based on live racing events. The position involves delivering food to guests, setting up, stocking, and maintaining the chef's table and buffet stations to ensure quality presentation and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Delivers food to guests
- Sets up, stocks, replenishes, and maintains the chef's table and buffet throughout service
- Maintains food quality, freshness, presentation, and cleanliness of the chef's table and buffet
- Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment
- Interacts with guests to assure guest satisfaction
- Interacts with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards
- Completes side work as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Essential requirements include a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work flexible hours. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Pay
$27.34 per hour (union position)
Schedule
Schedule event-based when there is live racing at Belmont Park. Onsite interviews will be held from July 23 to July 26.
