Responsibilities
- Quickly and accurately deliver food from the kitchen to the guests.
- Know all ingredients and preparation methods used on the menu to answer guests’ questions.
- Memorize table numbers and positions to deliver the correct food to the correct guest without asking.
- Assist servers in ensuring guests have everything they need.
- Help in other areas of the restaurant as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working in a full-service restaurant.
- Passion for excellent customer service.
- Outgoing personality—comfortable interacting with people.
- Excellent communication skills with guests, co-workers, and management.
- Ability to carry plates and glasses using trays.
- Ability to stay positive and calm under pressure.
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
