Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager 3 for Larned State Hospital in Larned, KS. The Food Production Manager will oversee inventory, purchasing, and general kitchen management for the medical campus. This strategic leader will come with a background in kitchen management and have a proven ability to lead and develop teams.

What You'll Do

• Motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff
• Kitchen management
• Provide stellar customer service
• Oversee ordering, procurement, and inventories
• Ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed
• Manage vendor relationships and compliance

What You Bring

• Kitchen and staff management experience
• Inventory management and purchasing experience
• Strong leadership skills and proven background growing teams
• Proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum Education Requirement – Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience – 2 years
• Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Pay & Schedule

• Salary range is negotiable and dependent on experience
• Schedule is mostly Monday-Friday
• May be eligible for sign-on bonus
