Food Production Lead (Procurement/Logistics Lead)

About the role

Join our growing entertainment company as a Central Kitchen Manager. You will oversee logistics, inventory flow, material handling activities, and purchasing activities that support daily kitchen production.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics, inventory flow, material handling activities, and purchasing activities that support daily kitchen production.
• Coordinate the receiving, storage, movement, and staging of ingredients, packaging, and finished goods across cold storage, dry storage, and production areas.
• Sources ingredients, packaging, and indirect materials; maintains accurate procurement records.
• Works cross-functionally to ensure materials are available safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Provides on-shift direction to Logistics and Production Associates to ensure materials are available safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Coordinates logistics operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or food production environments required; lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and temperature control practices.
• Ability to coordinate logistics operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, frozen, and refrigerated environments.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance; heavier items using forklifts or proper lifting equipment.
• Food safety certification preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or food production environments preferred.
• Experience sourcing food ingredients or packaging materials is a plus.
• Working knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, and supplier coordination.

Qualifications

• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and temperature control practices.

Skills

• Forklift operation experience (certification preferred or ability to obtain certification).
