About the role

Location: 249 Calef Hwy, Epping, New Hampshire 03042. Job type: Part‑time.

Responsibilities

• Food Merchandising: comply with company guidelines for maximizing sales, profitability and customer service by ensuring all grocery deliveries are accurate, stocked, attractively displayed and priced correctly.
• Complete build‑to’s for ordering/purchasing merchandise.
• Maintain inventory by checking in delivery, pricing items, stocking merchandise according to schematic.
• Validate deliveries by verifying invoices; review discrepancies with Store Manager; deliver outdated merchandise to Store Manager to ensure charges match what was delivered.
• Prepare displays by assembling, dating and price marking in‑store displays.
• Rotate food items, monitoring quality and freshness to protect customers from illness.
• Monitor and maintain food preparation area and display cases to attract and retain customers.
• Assist in training new associates (emphasis on excellent customer service) when necessary.
• Monitor and organize inventory to prevent stock‑outs on items a customer came to purchase.
• Customer Satisfaction: provide prompt, excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner; greet customers as they enter, thank them as they leave; resolve or assist with routine customer concerns within guidelines; report to work on time and follow dress and appearance code.
• Prepare and serve quality food and beverage to satisfy customer needs.
• Facility Condition: maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations; sweep and mop or clean floors; dust and/or wash windows, counters, displays, store areas and bathrooms; pick up and dispose of trash, litter or debris; inspect store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and proper working order; clean, sanitize, and maintain food service equipment to protect customers from illness.
• Administrative: attend job‑related meetings (may require irregular hours); maintain intradepartmental workflow by fostering cooperation; comply with company policies and procedures; contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; perform duties with minimal supervision; perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to work as scheduled, including arriving to work on time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Ability to perform the four (4) basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described below.
• Ability to work in the conditions described below.

Qualifications

• Physical activity: ability to be exposed to cold or warm temperature extremes performing occasional work in a walk‑in cooler and/or freezer and outdoors.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead (assisting in stocking/maintaining inventory
