Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Honesdale Food Pantry.
- Support seasonal programs such as the Red Kettle Campaign, Angel Tree, Camp recruitment, and Back-to-School initiatives.
- Recruit and train volunteers.
- Coordinate food ordering and distribution through Second Harvest Food Bank.
- Maintain client intake and secure recordkeeping.
- Attend and lead Food Pantry Committee meetings.
- Prepare required monthly statistical reports.
- Support recruitment and training for the Wayne County Emergency Disaster Team.
- Ensure organizational compliance with mandated reporter responsibilities, child protection clearances, and vehicle safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain records.
- Compassion and interest in meeting the needs of families and individuals.
- Pass necessary background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check, and Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training.

Pay & Schedule
- $13.50 per hour.
