Food Packer

Responsibilities

• Check and pack food and goods according to DO & CO and airline specifications.
• Ensure correct number of meals for each flight are ready, packed, and assigned correctly in a timely manner.
• Pack and check aircraft galley equipment to ensure adherence to airline guidelines.
• Absorb and prepare trays, package food, and conduct physical counts.
• Add additional equipment or products as needed.
• Report problems with the food safety management system to the supervisor and the hygiene and food safety team.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.
• Assist with airside operations under the direction of the flight coordinator and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Able to manage through a substantial workload.
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
• Able to complete assigned tasks within given time to meet strict deadlines.
• Able to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
• Flexible to work different shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
