Food & Nutrition Tech, Part Time, First Shift

Responsibilities

• Practice F&N standards of service to ensure high quality, consistent, neat, accurate and timely work.
• Provide courteous and efficient services to all customers to ensure a positive customer service experience.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient care by offering courteous and timely assistance and services to patients and their visitors.
• Accept and complete assignments without complaint or follow the chain of command to resolve concerns.
• Record required information on Food and Nutrition Services reports, forms, refrigerator/freezer, dish machine, sanitizer and food temperature logs.
• Read and understand posted information.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and provide opportunities for staff development.
• Treat all team members equally and with respect.
• Set up team members for success, do not leave work undone, and do not allow subordinate team members to leave work undone for others to finish.
• Perform varied duties and demonstrate initiative and competence by working in other areas under the umbrella of Food & Nutrition Services.
• Develop professionally by attending education seminars/forums and in-services.
• Be responsive to service schedule needs.
