Job Summary
Oversees Food & Nutrition personnel in the preparation of food and service, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained for food service quality to patients or customers. Responsible for ensuring that food served meets physician orders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates personnel in the preparation and distribution of food and service.
- Provides orientation and training to staff.
- Responsible for implementing patient diet orders according to physicians' orders.
- Provides clerical support.
- Provides input into Human Resources matters and effectively creates and maintains schedule for employees.
- Serves as a resource to staff.
- Preserves and protects patient's rights to confidentiality.
