About the role
The primary responsibility is to operate and maintain food manufacturing production machinery with a focus on mechanical systems. This includes troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of production lines.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor food processing machinery to ensure efficient production
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to prevent downtime
- Identify and report potential safety hazards to supervisors
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience operating similar machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Skills
- Proficient in using various food processing machinery
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
