About the Role
Our Attendant provides excellent service by taking and serving food and beverage orders to customers, processing transactions using cash, comps, coupons, and credit cards. Responsibilities
- Be friendly and courteous at all times
- Greet customers and enter orders into the Point of Sale system
- Prepare hot and cold food and drinks following specific recipes
- Process cash transactions, including making change and providing receipts
- Adhere to all company standards and operating policies
- Clean outlet areas, including counter tops, sinks, display shelves, storage areas, and lounge areas on a continuous basis
- Handle and resolve customer concerns and questions
- Perform side work and stock supplies at assigned stations and condiment areas
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required (or currently enrolled in a GED program, to be completed within six months of start date)
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
- Experience in foods/concessions, including basic preparation, maintaining, and serving of concession and Smorgasbord-type items (preferred)
- Must successfully pass a job interview, including a guest service audition
- Must be able to lift and carry thirty (30) pounds
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must effectively interact with diverse departments and adapt to an ever-changing environment
- Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality
- Must demonstrate strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, and understand instructions in various formats
- Must successfully complete ServeSafe Sanitation training
- Willing to work odd and irregular hours
- Willing to travel and participate in training as required
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License
- Must be willing and able to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
