About the Role

As a Food Court Clerk at Festival Foods, you'll be at the heart of our fast-paced food service area, preparing and serving up delicious meals for guests. Whether you're making a fresh cup of Caribou coffee, serving pizza, or popping the perfect batch of popcorn, you'll help create a welcoming, enjoyable experience for everyone who stops by. Responsibilities

  • Provide helpful service by greeting guests, answering questions, addressing guest concerns, and handling each interaction with professionalism and care
  • Offer assistance by providing warm, friendly service, helping guests with orders, recommending menu items, and ensuring they leave happy
  • Prepare and serve delicious food, including coffee, pizza, and popcorn, while maintaining high-quality and food safety standards
  • Keep the food court area clean, sanitary, and well-organized by keeping supplies stocked, food safety logs updated, and workspaces spotless
  • Work in a team environment to support fellow associates in a restaurant-like setting, ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Follow food safety protocols, handle equipment such as fryers, ovens, and woks, and manage proper temperature controls for all prepared foods
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the team
  • Maintain regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and provide adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences

Requirements

  • A friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong guest service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast food or restaurant retail grocery environment, multitask, and maintain efficiency
  • Comfort handling food service equipment like dishwashers, fryers, woks, and ovens (training provided)
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in different food court areas
  • Must be able to handle working at fast speeds
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
  • Full range of upper body motion
  • May be exposed to extreme temperatures

Schedule

This is a part-time position. The shift may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
