Food Beverage Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the food and beverage department
• Absorbs 100% responsibility for the quality of products served
• Directs and assists with the setup, preparation, and execution of banquets, parties, and special events
• Works closely with the Troon' Marketing Team Members to develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues
• Aids the General Manager in hiring, supervising, scheduling, and developing bartenders, cooks, and beverage cart attendants
• Provides daily oversight of F&B accounting procedures
• Maintains cost controls and conducts monthly inventory
• Trains front line staff on quality assurance and appropriate guest service
• Performs daily walk-throughs to ensure full compliance with the Department of Health regulations
• Complies with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and other local/state laws
• Fulfills other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Requirements

• Must have 1-2 years of supervisory experience
• Must have strong sales orientation
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Must have knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws
• Must have food and beverage/ a la carte and banquet experience
• Must have strong business aptitude
• Must have strong service orientation
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
• Must have exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must be 21+ with valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Education and Experience

• Physical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping
• Regularly reaches with arms and hands
• Occasionally lifts up to 50lbs
• Uses sight, reading, wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areas
• Works in a noise level that is typically moderate
• Works extended hours during golf and holiday season
• Works weekends and holidays
