About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager to oversee all F&B outlets, ensuring seamless service from the moment guests arrive until their experience is complete. Strong knowledge of wine and spirits is essential, while bar and craft cocktail experience is a plus. Familiarity with Micros and Yelp is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day F&B operations, ensuring consistent quality service standards and an exceptional guest experience.
- Supervise shift operations in collaboration with other Restaurant Managers, providing direct support to servers, server assistants, and hosts during peak meal periods.
- Foster a positive atmosphere by promptly addressing guest requests, complaints, and incidents at all F&B outlets with a courteous and efficient approach, including thorough follow-up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate payroll for F&B team members, ensuring all hours, PTO, and holidays are processed accurately and on time.
- Train, motivate, coach, and discipline F&B team members in alignment with hotel standards, under the guidance of the Restaurant General Manager.
- Develop and manage team schedules based on business forecasts, payroll budgets, and productivity requirements, submitting completed schedules to the General Manager and Human Resources as needed.
- Actively participate in departmental, staff, and management meetings, contributing to team collaboration and strategic discussions.
- Uphold purchasing standards, process vouchers, manage invoices, and oversee checkbook accounting per company guidelines.
- Control costs by conducting regular par checks, managing inventory, and ensuring portion control to reduce waste and avoid service interruptions.
Requirements
- Minimum two years in an Assistant Manager or Manager role at a fine dining restaurant or hotel
- A fine dining, wine, and beverage knowledge base
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal formats
- A Servesafe certificate or you are working on renewing the current certificate
- A strong sense of ownership in everything that you do
- The ability to work effectively and efficiently while working under pressure
- A high school diploma, equivalent degree, or higher required
