Food & Beverage Manager

Overview

The Food & Beverage Manager assists the department head in overseeing the food and beverage departments. They ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards. They help maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service. They interview, train, supervise, coach, schedule, and manage staff.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and speak English.
• Prioritize two to three years of fine dining experience.
• Prioritize two years of banquet management experience.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Effective communication skills with the public and other employees.
• Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction.
• Previous supervisory/management skills and experience.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• High school education.
• Ability to use 12th grade language.
• No direct threat to health or safety.
