Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

The Baltimore Country Club is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager/Restaurant Manager who will be responsible for managing service for fine and casual dining and/or banquet events.

Responsibilities

• Assure all dining facilities are setup and service is delivered in a manner that exemplifies gracious hospitality, our commitment to excellence and provides the best experiences for our members and their guests
• Interact with members and their guests to ensure their needs are being met
• Receive and resolve questions and issues concerning food, beverages and service
• Act as a liaison between the dining room, kitchen and other departments
• Supervise, train and schedule staff
• Manage and control expenses
• Secure the dining areas at the end of each service
• Manage and maintain the dining room inventory

Requirements

• Proven experience in successfully managing a-la-carte and banquet service
• Proven experience in scheduling and motivating staff to perform at an exceptional level
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with members, guests, Club management and staff
• Knowledge of F&B software and Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends and evenings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of liquor, beer and wine is desirable
