Requirements

• Experience working in customer service and with food and beverage sales
• Must be 19 or older
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must pass City of Boise background check processes which includes a criminal history check and reference checks
• Knowledge of general customer service practices
• Ability to interact with customers and participants in a tactful manner
• Ability to provide a high level of customer service to patrons
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language at a level necessary for efficient job performance
• Ability to complete assignments in a timely fashion
• Ability to understand and comply with all rules, policies and regulations
• Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance

Licensing

• TIP (Alcohol Servers Permit)

Essential Functions

• Prepares dining area, patio and grab and go counter for daily operations, ensuring all equipment is clean and in working order
• Ensures operations of dining area, providing a clean and safe environment for food and beverage service
• Maintains tables, countertops, trash and restocking of products
• Assists in setting up and breaking down banquet areas for special events, ensuring tables, linens and decorations are arranged according to event specifications
• Provides customer service to guests and ensures needs are met
• Takes and serves orders, acts as cashier and handles payments while accurately ringing in orders for the beverage cart and/or dining area
• Operates beverage cart on golf course while maintaining stock levels, cleanliness and ensuring cart is in optimal working condition
• Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Efforts: While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds and rarely lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds. Also, the employee is occasionally pushing/pulling up to 35 pounds and rarely pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds. The noise level is frequently moderate and rarely loud. Work includes sensory ability to talk, hear, smell and touch. Work in this position also includes close vision and distance vision.
