Food & Beverage Attendant, Golf Course

About the role

A Denison Golf Club Food & Beverage Attendant maintains high standards of guest service, safety, and cleanliness. The role requires the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Properly handle daily cash deposits.
• Create a service-first work environment.
• Assure cleanliness of front-of-house areas, including windows, light fixtures, tables, and entrances as assigned.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by a supervisor.
• Fill in for absent staff as needed.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.

Requirements

• Previous food service and/or bar experience.
• Outstanding guest service skills.
• Knowledge of proper food handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and personality.
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with minimal supervision.
• Punctuality and regular, reliable attendance.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
• Proper food safety training and certification as required by law.
• Experience working with computers (MS Office/Google) and POS systems.
• Familiarity with basic cooking skills.
