About the role
Responsible for providing Food & Beverage service within Fairmont & Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards.
- Adhere to daily checklist and duties assigned
- Assist Food & Beverage Servers in all aspects of the dining experience to include but not limited to running food, table maintenance and beverage service
- Clear and reset tables in a timely manner while adhering to COVID-19 guidelines and Fairmont Kea Lani procedures
- Ensure the proper set up and break down of all side stations in the venue
- Deliver food to each venue, including but not limited to AMA Bar & Grill, Pools, Beach Pavilion, Suites, Villas, Kō, Kea Lani Restaurant, and to go orders
- Check service stations for necessary equipment and set up
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods for all food and beverage venues on property
- Actively participate in monthly departmental sales promotions
- Adhere to the State of Hawaii & EcoSure food handling safety standards
- Organize time so all side work is completed according to shift demand
- Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests
Qualifications
- High School diploma (or equivalent) and/or vocational training
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment desirable
- TB Clearance (must be provided within 48 hours of an employment offer)
- Food Safety Certification or ServSafe Certification (must be provided within 48 hours of an employment offer)
- Authorization to work in the United States as defined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA); this position does not offer sponsorship of work visas
Pay
Hourly Rate: $23.04
Schedule
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including overnight, weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
