Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of the food service department, including staffing, food ordering, meal preparation, food delivery, food safety, and kitchen sanitation.
• Ensure compliance with community policies, physician orders, resident care plans, and current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis.
• Supervise food service staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler level II or similar food safety certification per state specific requirement.
• Certified food service manager; or similar national certification for food service management and safety from a national certifying body; or an
