Responsibilities

  • Ensures staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.
  • Inspects grooming and attire of staff and rectifies any deficiencies.
  • Completes scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies.
  • Maintains dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests.
  • Attends to guests in a prompt, efficient, and personalized manner.
  • Liaises between front of house and the kitchen staff to ensure timely and appropriate communications.
  • Maintains cleanliness, well-stocking, and organization of the restaurant and its facilities.
  • Monitors and reports on the maintenance of all equipment in the restaurant.
  • Completes opening and closing procedures, side work, and ensures cleanliness and organization of equipment and storage areas.
  • Collaborates with the Food & Beverage Manager in coordinating special functions.
  • Assists in coordinating special functions with the Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Assists the Food & Beverage Manager in interviewing, training, planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others, supports the team to reach common goals, and listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensures adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identifies, recommends, develops, and implements new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-saving initiatives.
  • Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
  • Assists in the coordination of department members that may include, but is not limited to: Hosts, Servers, Expediters, and Cashiers.
  • Assists in monitoring business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs and other expenses.
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven exemplary customer service skills.
  • One to three years’ experience at current Club or another Troon property.

Preferred Requirements

  • Working knowledge of POS system.
  • Attention to cleanliness and safety.
  • Patient and customer-oriented approach.
  • Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.
  • Responsible and trustworthy.
