About the role
The Foil Slitter’s primary function is to cut rolls of foil to specified widths to be wound in electrolytic capacitors.
Responsibilities
- Slit raw foil to widths per specifications
- Make precision adjustments to equipment
- Operate necessary equipment in a safe yet efficient manner
- Operate a hoist system to load and unload slitter
- Keep work area clean and neat
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret specifications
- Knowledge of or the ability to learn various measuring devices
- Good attendance record
- High school diploma or GED
- Full body movement and good eyesight
- Constant alertness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
