About the role
The FOIA Analyst position at Government Services, LLC involves providing comprehensive support for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. This includes managing and responding to FOIA inquiries, ensuring compliance with FOIA guidelines, and assisting with the preparation and review of documents.
Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to FOIA inquiries efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all FOIA requests comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review documents as required by FOIA requests.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and effective handling of FOIA matters.
- Provide guidance and training to other staff members on FOIA procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., public administration, law, or information technology).
- At least 2 years of experience in FOIA processing or related administrative work.
- Strong knowledge of FOIA laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
