About the role
The FOIA Analyst position provides support for the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) program. This includes responding to public requests for information, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with FOIA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to public requests for information under the FOIA
- Maintain and update FOIA records
- Evaluate and respond to FOIA requests efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all FOIA requests are handled in accordance with agency policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of FOIA requests
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., government relations, public administration, law)
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a government agency or similar organization
- Strong knowledge of FOIA laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
Schedule
Hybrid schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work remotely or in the office as needed
