The Host is the first and last impression—setting the tone for hospitality from greeting to fond farewell. This role manages reservations and pacing, welcomes guests by name when possible, and supports the floor to keep service flowing.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests, confirm reservations, and provide accurate wait times; offer alternatives when needed.
• Seat thoughtfully based on server sections, pacing, and guest preferences.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand; communicate delays with empathy and accuracy.
• Manage OpenTable settings, notes, and turn times; capture preferences and special occasions.
• Coordinate with servers, expo, and management to balance covers and deliver smooth handoffs.
• Assist with menus, waters, bussing/resetting as needed to maintain momentum.
• Uphold DH standards for appearance, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Requirements

• Friendly, professional communication; poise under pressure.
• Basic OpenTable or reservation system experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and host for extended periods; nights/weekends/holidays as needed.

Pay

$12.14–$16.00 per hour DOE plus tips.

Full-Time Year-Round Benefits

• Health insurance eligibility: pre-tax employer contribution up to $125 per pay period; medical, dental, vision, and accident plans available.
• Paid time off: up to 40 hours PTO accrued per 2,080 hours worked, escalating to 80 hours after 3 years of service; paid sick leave per Colorado law.
• Tuition reimbursement up to $1,000 per year for pre-approved, industry-related coursework.
