Foam Room Operator
Position Summary
The Foam Room Operator is a key member of a three-person production team responsible for foaming the cores of our Traffic Doors in a manufacturing environment. This role is physical, fast-paced, and requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. The operator will run foam presses, handle a foam gun, and follow established procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality product output.
Responsibilities
- Operate foam presses and foam gun equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare doors for the foaming process according to production specifications.
- Monitor machinery, gauges, and material flow to ensure proper operation.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Document production data, material usage, and any equipment issues.
- Assist with routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
