FNS Asst

Join our Food Services team as an FNS Assistant, where you’ll prepare a variety of foods and beverages for patients while maintaining a clean and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare various foods and beverages for patients following established guidelines, recipes, and production sheets.
• Cover, label, date, and store foods properly according to procedures.
• Adhere to proper food handling techniques, including wearing gloves, handwashing, hair covering, and avoiding eating on the job.
• Prepare and set up food and supplies in sufficient quantity to cover service requirements, restocking as needed.
• Check daily menu needs and complete advance preparation for the next day.
• Help reduce costs by minimizing waste and overproduction, utilizing leftovers appropriately.
• Promptly report food shortages, outdated items, or products received in unacceptable condition.
• Perform cleaning and dish room duties, as well as other related cleaning tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Some kitchen experience is desirable.
