Responsibilities
- Provide support to various F-16 FMS programs.
- Support teams working on one or multiple programs.
- Aid in planning, organizing, completing, and presenting assessments of program/project management concepts, analyses, studies, and procedures.
- Evaluate implications of existing or proposed projects, programs, processes, and policies/laws and recommend improvements.
- Collect and analyze manpower data on previous programs and develop new manpower estimates for new programs.
- Prepare documentation for Letters of Offer/Retention (LORs) and implement and execute Letters of Authorization (LOAs) in accordance with the AECA, SAMM/DSCA Manual 5105.38-M.
- Gather, analyze, evaluate, and document information required by program or project managers and foreign customers and provide daily administrative support, utilizing FMS policies, the AECA, and analytical methods or techniques.
- Coordinate and obtain approvals from the foreign disclosure office prior to releasing information to foreign partners.
- Prepare briefings and reports, document meetings, plans, and discussions with U.S. and foreign parties.
- Offer project management assistance for domestic and foreign travel.
- Identify requirements for travel and availability of meeting rooms; process Government personnel travel orders in DTS; initiate foreign travel country clearances through Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance Systems (APACS); and coordinate with security, foreign disclosure, U.S. and foreign embassy staff, overseas MAJCOMs, and SAF/IA representatives to process overseas travel requirements.
- Provide instructions to travelers regarding obtaining visas, passports, and other FMS necessary travel documents, and assist in applications if needed.
- Support OCONUS and CONUS travel in support of F-16 program meetings, reviews, audits, and other activities held at U.S. and foreign government and Contractor facilities.
- Interact with foreign liaisons on an as-needed basis, including assisting in providing reference material to help foreign liaisons address housing, vehicles, medical, travel, and other issues.
Requirements
- Must have at least an active secret clearance.
- Must have a Master's or Doctoral Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, with at least five of those years in the DoD.
- Or, a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, with at least five of those years in the DoD.
- Must have fifteen years of directly related experience with proper certifications, with eight of those years in the DoD.
- Must have a minimum of ten years of administrative/analysis support experience.
- Must have two years of experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition program.
- Must have extensive administrative skills and knowledge of FMS policies, processes, and applicable guidance, as well as knowledge of fighter aircraft technology and USAF administrative guidelines.
