Fluid Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will join the FUCHS Smart Services (FSS) team, focusing on providing world-class solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and perform routine preventive maintenance on lubrication and fluid decantation systems, including filter changes and system cleanings
• Input data daily and generate performance reports
• Handle materials, operate lift trucks, and move drums and totes
• Make fluid corrections as needed based on testing results in the absence of the site leader
• Follow procedures and adhere to all customer and safety requirements
• Participate in daily communication meetings with site supervisor and communicate effectively

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Standing and/or walking for approximately 4-8 hours daily
• Previous work experience working in a manufacturing environment related to lubricants and/or laboratory testing preferred
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to navigate the internet and email
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs as well as standing and/or walking for approximately 4-8 hours daily
• Previous forklift experience is desired

Qualifications

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20 - $23 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
