Fluid / Pasteurizer Operator - 5p-5a (2-2-3 schedule)

Description

Operates and monitors dairy processing equipment (including pasteurization, filtration, and evaporation systems) to ensure products meet strict quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate pasteurizer, filtration, evaporator systems, separators and testing equipment.
• Must follow intake and production schedules to ensure efficient results are achieved.
• Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety and quality assurance practices.
• Verify quality control items such as product composition, temperature, physical, and chemical properties.
• Must follow all quality standards in relationship to receiving of raw cream and final specifications regarding pasteurized product.
• Perform daily housekeeping, cleaning and sanitation of department and equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation in all formats of recordkeeping.
• Demonstrate an understanding of products manufactured and the processes involved.
• Demonstrate proficiency and willingness to work in tight and confined spaces.
• Crosstrain to support other roles within the department as needed.
