Fluid Filler Operator, Overnight, Dairy - Lakeland

About the role

This position involves performing various tasks such as maintaining housekeeping, running fillers and associated equipment, calculating runs and times for filling operations, monitoring and adjusting labeling machines, caps, codes, weights, labels, and bottles, and tasting products for quality. Other duties may include minor repairs and mechanical adjustments, accurately completing documentation and records, and assisting other team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining housekeeping standards
• Operating and maintaining fillers and associated equipment
• Calculating and recording run times and quality checks
• Monitoring and adjusting labelers, ink jets, and input codes
• Inspecting caps, codes, weights, labels, bottles, and taste products for quality
• Starting and stopping equipment as needed
• Performing minor repairs and adjustments
• Accurately completing documentation and records
• Assisting other team members as required

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Excellent work habits consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Safe working habits
• Able to lift more than 50 pounds frequently
• Able to learn and perform all positions
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to work any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Able to maintain good attendance and punctuality
• Able to assist other team members in other areas
• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
