About the role

Provide excellent customer service and manage incoming calls. Verify shipments, schedule deliveries, process loads, resolve issues, maintain records, and ensure compliance with company and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing identifying information and measuring items against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.
• Schedule and review daily delivery and carrier appointments.
• Process incoming deliveries and check in/out all tractors and trailers promptly.
• Complete and process outbound loads accurately.
• Resolve shipping and receiving issues with internal staff and teams.
• Complete and file daily audits/reports (e.g., TDR verification, yard audits, Dockmaster Updates, FUD Reports, peculiar inventory tracking).
• Maintain effective communication and visibility within the team and with inbound/outbound clerks.
• Maintain accurate records, including yard checks and inventory tracking.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance.
• Investigate and reconcile discrepancies such as mis-shipped packages or damaged goods.
• Follow all company safety rules and assist in enforcement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 3 months of verifiable customer service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to effectively multi-task.

Pay

$22.00 per hour with a $2.00 shift differential.

Schedule

Wednesday–Saturday, 6:30 PM – 5:00 AM.
