Flour Mill Operator - Night shift

The Basics

Location: Statesville, NC
Compensation: $20.75/hr and up
Days/Hours: Rotating night shift: 7pm to 7am Mon, Thu, Fri one week, and the same hours Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun the next week.

What You’ll Be Doing

The primary duties of this job will include:

• Assisting with the setting up, monitoring and adjusting of milling equipment to ensure maximum yield while also hitting production goals
• Maintenance of milling equipment
• Transferring of finished flour to storage
• Cleaning of the flour mill and the cleaning house
• Housekeeping (an ongoing duty for this position)
• Food safety responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check

• This job can be physically strenuous
• You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces
• You will work at heights
• You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
• You will be required to wear PPE
