Floral Designer

About the role

As a Floral Designer, no two days are ever the same. Customers walk in with dreams—visions of romance, celebration, or heartfelt remembrance—and you bring those visions to life. With creativity and care, you design stunning arrangements using your knowledge of floral seasonality and perishability. You maintain clean, organized workspaces and displays, replenish inventory, and ensure every stem and ribbon is perfectly placed. You’ll also lift and move floral products and supplies, often up to 40 lbs., and work with helium tanks and other tools of the trade.

Responsibilities

• Design floral arrangements with a strong creative eye and attention to detail
• Maintain clean, efficient workspaces and manage inventory and supplies
• Engage with customers to uncover their needs and translate ideas into beautiful arrangements
• Lift and move floral products and supplies (up to 40 lbs.)
• Use floral tools, helium tanks, and basic point-of-sale systems
• Stand and move throughout the day
• Partner with fellow associates to contribute to a positive team environment

Requirements

• Experience in floral arrangement and design
• Familiarity with floral perishability, seasonality, and care requirements
• Strong customer service skills
• Organizational skills for maintaining workspaces and inventory
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation
• Familiarity with floral tools and helium tanks
