FLORAL/DESIGNER

Responsibilities

• Design and merchandise floral items and arrangements for display, sale, or customer requests.
• Provide customer service, greet customers, offer assistance, and take and fill orders.
• Package orders cheerfully, effectively, safely, and efficiently.
• Keep the department area clean and free from clutter.
• Maintain merchandise and supplies in their proper locations.
• Maintain customer records and files accurately.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting items.
• Handle telephone calls and Florist Transworld Delivery orders promptly and courteously.
• Assist in decorating and merchandising the department.
• Provide good customer and associate relations.
• Make a neat, clean impression on customers.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, especially regarding a harassment‑free work environment.

Requirements

• Florist Transworld Delivery certification: three years full‑time retail design experience or six years part‑time retail design experience.
• Floral Design School qualification counts as six months full‑time retail design experience.
• Confidentiality regarding associate records.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule

Willing to work weekends and holidays.
