Floral Designer

About the role

As a Floral Designer, no two days are ever the same. Customers walk in with dreams—visions of romance, celebration, or heartfelt remembrance—and you bring those visions to life. With creativity and care, you design stunning arrangements using your knowledge of floral seasonality and perishability. You maintain clean, organized workspaces and displays, replenish inventory, and ensure every stem and ribbon is perfectly placed. You’ll also lift and move floral products and supplies, often up to 40 lbs., and work with helium tanks and other tools of the trade.

Responsibilities

• Design floral arrangements with creativity and attention to detail
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and displays
• Replenish inventory and manage supplies
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and translate ideas into arrangements
• Lift and move floral products and supplies (up to 40 lbs.)
• Use floral tools, helium tanks, and basic point-of-sale systems
• Collaborate with team members in a positive work environment

Requirements

• Experience in floral arrangement and design
• Strong creative eye and attention to detail
• Knowledge of floral perishability, seasonality, and care requirements
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation
• Capability to stand and move throughout the day
• Familiarity with floral tools and basic point-of-sale systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment
