Flooring Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, designers, and other industry professionals.
• Grow and manage an existing book of business while actively developing new accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking and referrals.
• Meet with customers to understand project needs and recommend flooring solutions.
• Prepare estimates, quotes, and proposals.
• Cook up coordination with internal teams to ensure projects move smoothly from sale to completion.
• Maintain a high level of customer service before, during, and after the sale.
• Stay current on flooring products, market trends, and competitor offerings.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of flooring sales experience.
• Established book of business (BOB) and strong relationships within the local market.
• Well-networked with local builders, contractors, remodelers, and industry professionals.
• Proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience selling one or more of the following: Hardwood, Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP), Carpet, Tile, Laminate, Commercial Flooring.
