Flooring Installer - 1099 Subcontractor

About the role

We are seeking experienced and dependable 1099-subcontractor flooring installers to join our team. Whether you specialize in hardwood, tile, LVP, carpet, or other flooring types — we have work available to match your skills.

Responsibilities

• Install flooring based on your area(s) of expertise:
• (We’re hiring for all types: hardwood, laminate, vinyl plank (LVP), tile, carpet, kitchen backsplash, etc. – but you don’t need to install every type.)
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and manage your crew
• Communicate effectively with our office and clients as needed
• Follow site safety, and specs
• Maintain a professional and clean work environment

Requirements

• At least 3 years of proven experience in your flooring specialty
• Ability to pass a background check
• Workers’ comp and general liability insurance
• Reliable transportation (enclosed truck or van preferred)
• Your own tools and equipment
• Able to manage a crew and complete projects on time
