About the role

The Floor Technician assists the Building Services Supervisor in maintaining the cleanliness and condition of floors, stairs, and other related areas in accordance with established standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain floors, stairs, and other related areas in accordance with established standards.
  • Perform cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, and dusting.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and follow all health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
  • Two (2) years of housekeeping and floor care experience in the medical or professional office setting is preferred.

Skills

  • Read, write and speak English.
  • Computer skills.
  • Ability to work with numbers.
