Floor Technician- North Cancer Center

About the role

The Floor Technician will maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment in a professional and courteous manner. They will foster a teamwork environment with peers and other hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic project cleaning activities
• Strip and refinish floors
• Machine scrub floors
• Recoat floors
• High speed burnish hard surface floors
• Shampoo and extract carpet
• Clean upholstered furniture
• Wash lights, vents, diffusers, walls, ceilings, and windows

Requirements

• Ability to be a leader and a trainer
• Basic safety and equipment operation/maintenance skills: service cart, wet/dry vacuums, vacuum sweeper, carpet extractor, trash cart, industrial washer & dryer, high speed burnishers, electric beds, low speed floor scrubber, automatic carpet and hard floor scrubbers, desk movers, automatic rider burnisher, 2-Wheel Dolly, riding corridor vacuum sweeper, flat bed cart, and truck
• A High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• No previous experience required
• No license required
