Summary of Duties
- Cleaning floors, including sweeping, dusting, damp/moist mopping, disinfecting, etc.
- Cleaning carpets, including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
- Buffing floors using floor machine and appropriate pad and finish as needed.
- Refinishing floors using proper stripping or scrubbing method as needed or assigned.
- Pick up accumulated trash and place in designated areas for storage and/or removal.
- Clean exit/entrance door areas, including removing trash and cigarette butts, cleaning glass with cleaner, sweeping mats, etc.
- Notify supervisor when repairs to equipment are needed.
- Scrub and clean shower room daily.
- Clean assigned areas, pull trash, sweep, and spot mop floors.
- Remove biohazard containers and properly dispose of them daily.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- No prior experience is required.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
Physical Requirements
- Moves about consistently throughout the workday.
- Reaches, bends, and/or stoops intermittently throughout the workday.
- Ability to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Pushes, pulls, moves, and/or carries up to 50 pounds utilizing proper body mechanics and assistance.
- Pushes, pulls, or moves up to 100 pounds utilizing proper body mechanics and assistance.
- Walks/stands 75% of the day.
- Copes with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
