Floor Technician Finisher, Evenings, Baptist Beaches

About the Role

Baptist Health is looking to add a Floor Technician Finisher to join the Baptist Beaches Environmental Services team. The Floor Technician Finisher is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Baptist utilizes state-of-the-art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines, which break down the DNA of germs in the hospital environment before manual cleaning is performed, keeping team members and patients better protected.

Responsibilities

• Perform major floor cleaning and refreshing throughout the medical center
• Perform all Environmental Services-related tasks
• Perform heavier cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods
• Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and recommend repairs as needed
• Perform all other tasks which may be assigned

Experience

• 3–5 years housekeeping experience preferred
• 1–2 years floor finishing experience preferred
• 1–2 years hospital experience preferred

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required

Schedule

Full-Time, Evenings, 3:00p–11:30p. Rotating weekends and holidays are required.
