Floor Technician

Responsibilities

• Is aware of hospital and department compliance requirements for federally funded healthcare programs (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste and abuse.
• Sets up and tears down meeting rooms.
• Prepares hard surface floors for finish application.
• Maintains assigned equipment for cleanliness and reports repairs when needed.
• Moves furniture, beds, and sets up meeting rooms.
• Trains on and uses carpet and hard surface floor equipment as specified.
• Observes and reports the need for repairs to hospital equipment, furniture, building and fixtures.
• Uses cardboard bailer as needed.
• Completes total room cleaning on an annual basis and maintains recordkeeping for completion.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Technical aptitude - Equipment knowledge.
• Self-development.
• Customer/patient focused.
