Floor Technician
Position Overview
The Floor Technician is primarily responsible to perform the day-to-day activities of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning floors to include, sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
- Ensuring that proper safety signs are set up prior to performing floor cleaning activities
- Cleaning carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
- Cleaning walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, etc.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED/HSE preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
