At Sunrise Nursing & Memory Care, we’re a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. We’re looking for a reliable Floor Technician to help maintain our facility and ensure our residents feel at home.
Responsibilities
- Perform floor care: wash, seal, wax, and buff floors throughout the facility
- Auxiliary maintenance: replace light bulbs, clean vents, windows, screens, etc.
- Clean and disinfect resident rooms, restrooms, lounges, and high-traffic areas
- Maintain outdoor areas (sweep entrances, clean ash trays, hose out garbage cans)
- Clean and sanitize furnishings, surfaces, and equipment
- Follow daily assignments and safety procedures
- Perform emergency and routine housekeeping duties as needed
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- At least 1 year of floor tech or commercial housekeeping experience
- Ability to follow schedules, instructions, and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and a team-player attitude
