Floor Technician

Summary of Responsibilities

The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all floor areas throughout the facility. Must be able to read, write, and follow oral instructions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean all floor areas daily using proper techniques
• Clean spills promptly and safely
• Maintain dining room floors appropriately
• Absorb other department areas as needed
• Use chemicals and cleaning solutions safely and correctly
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

• Experience in stripping and waxing floors with strong knowledge of floor care techniques
• Ability to interact courteously and professionally with residents and staff
• Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend; 12-hour shifts available
• Meet the physical demands of the position
