Responsibilities
- Clean and care for a variety of floor surfaces using appropriate methods.
- Operate floor care machines such as buffers, auto-scrubbers, carpet extractors, burnishers, and vacuums.
- Perform advanced floor care services including stripping old wax or finish, applying new coatings, buffing for shine, and deep-cleaning carpets.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work independently or with a team to complete daily floor care duties and larger cleaning projects.
- Keep floors free of spills, dirt, and slip hazards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience working as a commercial floorcare technician, janitor, or similar role.
- Experience using floor care machines like buffers, auto-scrubbers, burnishers, and carpet extractors.
- Knowledge of floor types and how to clean and maintain each properly.
- Valid Real ID.
- Able to obtain and maintain government base access.

Physical & Environmental Demands
- Stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours per shift.
- Use hands and arms for repetitive tasks.
- Lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to clean under furniture or along baseboards.
- Operate heavy-duty floor care equipment.
- Maintain good vision and hearing.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Be exposed to cleaning chemicals and disinfectants.
- Navigate around furniture, equipment, and people in shared workspaces.
