Responsibilities
- Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and polishing floors
- Maintain carpets through vacuuming, spot cleaning, and extraction as needed
- Operate floor care equipment safely and effectively
- Follow established cleaning schedules and infection control procedures
- Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and hazard-free
Qualifications
- Previous floor care experience preferred, especially in healthcare, long-term care, or commercial settings
- Knowledge of floor care equipment and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move equipment as required
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
